I don\\’t know anyone who doesn\\’t have a cell phone. As a matter of fact, I got my first cell phone when I was 17 or 18 years old. But don\\’t think that I didn\\’t have the money to buy a cell phone. That\\’s not true at all. Because to be honest, I didn\\’t miss my cell phone at all, and I didn\\’t even need one. I only had one best friend, who I was very close with and really hung out with every day. She didn\\’t have a cell phone either. Neither she nor I had a computer or laptop. Who would we call or text? I really didn\\’t need a cell phone because I didn\\’t know anything about that. Even though everybody around me had had a cell phone for about six years. And I didn\\’t think it mattered. I didn\\’t get a cell phone until I was in my first serious relationship. That sounds logical. Obviously, my girlfriend and I needed a quality cell phone in order to write emotional text messages and call each other.And once we got the phone, we were hooked within a week. I was happy that my friend, who really only calls me, got a cell phone too. Just like I was in love. I think having a cell phone is really important for people today. Besides, you never know how a complete stranger will call me, right? Well, I don\\’t know how someone who sends me a letter or doesn\\’t have a cell phone would contact me. How did it go for you?
